AJF’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy is a commitment to sustainable development. AJF together with its partners and local populations in DRC, anticipates its sustainability through the development of safe and sustainable relationships with its environment (biodiversity).

This social commitment is based on 3 major points:

Environmental responsibility

(1) by supporting local structures and initiatives to remedy malfunctions, overexploitation of natural resources, pollution and climate.

(2) by increasing the capacity of employees and local populations to understand environmental issues and to reduce the carbon impact of their activities.

From 18 October to 26 November 2021, AJF took part in the campaign launched by the Climathon and its CEO Olivier Bulonza intervened by reaffirming the company's commitment to environmental issues at the Climathon DRC held on 26 October 2021 in GOMA.

Economic responsibility

AJF Corporation is committed to supporting local people (local producers and suppliers). The goal is to integrate profitability and development objectives with environmental and social considerations on a voluntary basis.

For the year 2023, AJF has committed to planting 100,000 trees around the city of Kinshasa, capital of the DRC.

Involving our employees in some of our decisions or keeping the surrounding communities informed about the impact of our activities does not hinder the development of our company. On the opposite, these initiatives represent a real opportunity in terms of costs and image. The positive effects are multiplied when this responsibility is integrated into our company's strategy, goes beyond the stage of individual actions and becomes the driving force of management.
